"A Moment to Remember"

I blogged before that I'll be going to be busy for a few days and it is because of this. Last March 11, 2013 we have our Final Function for my Banquet subject.

A Moment to Remember is a buffet style dining event where people are gathered to eat delicious dishes. The foods are well prepared and cooked to perfection. We've decided to create this kind of theme because this event is actually our farewell party. Since this event will be our last event for our Banquet subject, we've decided to create this kind of theme that will surely be A Moment to Remember.

The foods are very delicious and since it's buffet, here are the dishes:

Fresh Iceberg Lettuce with Carrots, Cucumber and Cabbage in Mustard Vinaigrette

 Mixed Vegetable in Spicy Curry Sauce

 Crispy and Juicy Chicken Strips with Mayo-Mustard Sauce 

 Stir-Fried Beef and Tofu with Red Bell Peppers in Spicy Oyster Sauce

We made the event a moment to Remember by recording some videos with our message to them. After that messages by the whole class, we gave all the teachers in my field some red roses and for our teacher in this subject, we gave him a sketch of his face. Haha! After those memorable and touching messages was the Bloopers. The clips which were wrong and funny and lastly was our original Harlem Shake. I wanted to upload it on Youtube but I'm too shy and I just don't wanna share it. LOL!

The over-all function was a success! I can really say that my experience in my school was definitely unforgettable. :)  It is surely A Moment to Remember.  ♥

EXTENDED (Sending Love To David Archuleta)

I don't know if this is a good news or a bad news? Haha! 

Sending Love to David Archuleta is EXTENDED until March 17, not because I only have few photos but I'm too busy nowadays and If sending of photos will end tomorrow, nobody can send anymore there photos and yet I can't edit it next week because we have too many things to do. Tomorrow, we have a Formal Event on school, and we will shoot a Harlem Shake for our function on Monday. Saturday and Sunday, we will be preparing for our Buffet dining on my Banquet, Function and Catering Services and Monday is the actual event. Tuesday, we will be having a "Bollywood to Hollywood" cocktail party at my school  for my Food and Beverage Operation and I am the assigned manager on that two event so I must focus on that thing because it is very important to me. Wednesday is our Final Exam on some of my subjects and  Thursday will be the first defense on our Feasibility Study. See, I'm so busy and loaded next week and If I close the sending of photos, many Archies can't participate even though I can't edit/compile it. 

I don't have second thoughts in fact, I'm giving chances to many Archies around the world to send their photos until next week! Isn't it great! Also, there are some Archies that were busy this week, and I consider them as one of the factors that made me extend this activity or project.

I'll be sending a gift to Kari on the address that she told us and I'll put a copy of our video so that David could really watch it while he is away.

"A Heart meets the Notes"

As a part of our Banquet, Function and Catering Services we, in my school, handled this Fine Dining Event last Monday, 021113 and serves as our Pre-final exam.

A heart meets the Notes is a formal evening dining event where people are gathered and eat delicious and delicate dishes. The foods are well prepared and cooked to perfection. The service is properly planned and the location is well designed for a formal event. First will be the Bread and Butter. For the Salad, you can enjoy a Fresh Cabbage Salad tossed with Chick Peas in Ranch Dressing. The Lime Sherbet with a Splash of Vodka to stimulate you appetite and the main dish is an Oven-Baked Beef Ribs with Cherry Tomatoes and Halved Baby Potatoes in Homemade Mayonnaise. A Wild Sweet Orange Tea is for the beverage and Red Wine is also present to compliment your main course.  After a very luscious course is a very mouth-watering Layer Heaven, Earth and Sun which is made out of  Panna Cotta, Chocolate Mousse and a Mango that signifies the Sun.

We decided to create this kind of theme because the event will be held at the month of February and we all know that it it the "hearts month" and since this event is a fine dining, the set-up should be formal we've decided to accompanied it with some music that are appropriate for the said event.

This was just a simple event but hey! We had an outstanding job. The foods tastes good even tho it didn't actually look good. Maybe next time we should improve our garnishing skills. The set up was too nice on that night, especially when the candles were lit, too bad I didn't have a chance to get a picture of it because we were too busy and a little bit panic attack because the service must be fast. I had a great time but I was sick that day, my asthma attacked and it was too bad. :(

"No Matter How Far"

New Album In March!

I'm so happy and excited for this new album of David that will be released on March 26, 2013. I wanna hear those new, amazing and wonderful songs by David. We are so lucky that we have Kari to update us on everything about David. Thank God :)

Even tho David is on his  mission, we can feel his love through this new album. David really love his fans <3

Sending Love to David Archuleta #DA2014

Tomorrow is already February and I know that we all miss the handsome and amazing David Archuleta, but 2014 will be here before we even know it! One year to go, just one year! I miss him badly, that's why I decided to gather all those David Archuleta's Angels around the world and send some love to him but how?

The Other Side of Down (Say Whaaaaat)

Did you know, when I'm in the OTHER SIDE OF DOWN, people are talking SOMETHING 'BOUT LOVE inside an ELEVATOR and one day, I was STOMPING THE ROSES because I can't remember WHO I AM so I just look at the FALLING STARS and those PARACHUTES AND AIRPLANES and one day, I LOOK AROUND and it's not a GOOD PLACE anymore that's why everyone are having a COMPLAIN but I know that THINGS ARE GONNA GET BETTER, and one day I'll wake up, that place will be MY KIND OF PERFECT.

Paradise Island

White Sand Beach, Clear Water and Delicious Foods will welcome you at Paradise Island. Paradise Island is located at Samal Island, in Davao City, Philippines. We went there last vacation to relax and enjoy the wonderful view of Samal Island. We stayed at Paradise Island because our tour guide brought us there but we don't regret it, in fact, we enjoyed it! 

Paradise Island is a very peaceful, amazing and a fun place. You can do lots of things like riding a banana boat, Jet Skiing, Diving and so much more! The place is clean, and refreshing. 

We took 2 rooms, one for me and my sister and one for my parents. The rooms are very affordable and it's clean, fully air conditioned, has a cable t.v., of course private comfort room, and so much more good things.

At night, on dinner time, there are performers who will uplift your dinner time! There are bands, and the most exciting is the fire dance. It's is so stupendous! It looks too dangerous yet look simple to do and they did  great! 

My over all experience at Paradise Island is unforgettable! I wanna go back soon!
