It’s night and we are so tired but when I look outside, I
feel at peace because we are in El Nido, Palawan. El Nido is a first class
municipality and managed resource protected area in the province of Palawan. According
to CNNGo, it is the Best Beach and Island destination in the Philippines for
its "extraordinary natural splendor and ecosystem." It took us 1 and a half hour from Manila to Puerto Princesa and 7
hours from Puerto Princesa to El Nido Palawan.
We are currently staying here at Ipil Suites. This hotel is
cool. They have internet connections, clean and spacious rooms at a very
affordable price with a complimentary buffet breakfast but there’s no
electricity here from 6AM- 2PM. The blackout not only occurs in this suite but
in the whole province of El Nido.
